Lock in the admin

Add your flight details to the Flight Tracker — flight numbers + arrival/departure times. This is also how we’ll match you with carpool buddies for the airport transfer. Passport check: valid for 6+ months beyond September? If not, renew NOW. Fill out the offsite survey (dietary needs, shirt size & what you want out of the offsite) — if you somehow haven’t yet 👀 Extending your trip? File your leave in Talenox & align with your manager. (Reminder: personal nights/trips are on you; airfare must stay within your cap.) Visa check: most of us are visa-free (incl. Indian passports through 31 Dec 2026) — but double-check for your passport.

Start packing — full list below 👇 (yes, including the Portcast polo). Check the weather: September in KL = hot & humid (~24–33°C) with afternoon showers. Light clothes + umbrella = winning combo. Download the e-hailing apps (tips from Uday, our KL local 🙌): Grab — most drivers, takes cards · inDrive — bid your own price, often cheaper, but cash/QR only · AirAsia Move — fixed fares, fewer drivers. Money: a little RM cash goes a long way — and cards work almost everywhere else.

Final prep — don’t skip these!

Submit your MDAC (Malaysia Digital Arrival Card) — mandatory, free, and only valid within 3 days of arrival. Do it now, screenshot the confirmation. Online check-in for your flight; save your boarding pass offline. Save the hotel address offline: Perdana KLCC, Jalan Binjai, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. Charge your power bank + pack chargers in your carry-on. Screenshot the essentials: MDAC confirmation, hotel address, flight details, travel insurance (if you have it).

🛬 Arrival day · Sunday 6 September

Touchdown → hotel

Grab / inDrive straight to the hotel (~45–60 min): the easy option. Budget ~RM10 extra for highway tolls.
Landing at evening rush (4:30–7:30 PM)? Beat the jams: KLIA Ekspres to KL Sentral (28 min, RM55) then a short Grab (RM10–15) to the hotel.
Check-in from 3:00 PM. Settle in, explore, rest up — no agenda Sunday, but be fresh for the Monday morning kickoff. 💪

💰 Airport → hotel transport cap: RM75 per car, one-way. Keep your receipt for reimbursement — and check the Flight Tracker to carpool with teammates landing around the same time. 4 to a car = everyone wins.

🧠 Offsite mindset — what to expect

This is a working strategy offsite — focused on alignment & action: product direction, sales & marketing (GTM), and culture-building.
Mon–Wed = 3 full working days with early starts — Sunday is travel + settle-in, Thursday is departure day (BAU unless you took leave).
Come with opinions, questions and energy — this is the week the whole company is in one room. Make it count.
Evenings are for the team: dinners Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday… and Wednesday afternoon? Let’s just say: wear the comfy shoes. 🏁👀
