Touchdown → hotel

  • Grab / inDrive straight to the hotel (~45–60 min): the easy option. Budget ~RM10 extra for tolls.
  • Landing at evening rush (4:30–7:30 PM)? Beat the jams: KLIA Ekspres to KL Sentral (28 min, RM55) then a short Grab (RM10–15).
  • Check-in from 3:00 PM. Settle in, explore, rest — no agenda Sunday, but be fresh for the Monday kickoff. 💪
💰 Airport → hotel cap: RM75 per car, one-way. Keep your receipt for reimbursement — and check the Flight Tracker to carpool with teammates landing around the same time. 4 to a car = everyone wins.

  • Passport (+ MDAC screenshot)
  • Laptop & charger — we'll be brainstorming
  • Power bank + a UK-style Type G adapter (Malaysia's plug)
  • Any meds you need + sunscreen

👕 The wardrobe

  • Portcast polo / blue shirt — first time at the offsite (joined after Oct 2025)? You’ll get yours onsite 🎁
  • Smart casual for all sessions
  • Something nice for our three dinners (Mon–Wed)
  • Comfy walking shoes + something comfortable for Wednesday afternoon 👟 — trust us on this one 😉
  • Umbrella / light raincoat (September showers)
  • Swimwear / gym & sports kit if you’d like to use the hotel’s pool, gym & courts in your free time 🏊🎾 (totally optional)

Come ready

The offsite mindset

  • This is a working strategy offsite — focused on alignment & action: product direction, GTM (sales & marketing) and culture.
  • Mon–Wed = 3 full working days with early starts. Sunday is travel + settle-in; Thursday is departure (BAU unless you took leave).
  • Bring your energy, curiosity and first-principles thinking — question the defaults, ask the big “why”, and build on each other's ideas. This is the week the whole company is together in person; make it count.
  • Evenings are for the team: dinners Mon, Tue & Wed… and Wednesday afternoon? Let's just say — wear the comfy shoes. 🏁
